Pad 4 ConjSuturing

The consumable for conjunctival suturing practice: one pad, around four training sessions.

The Pad 4 ConjSuturing is a 40 x 35 x 2.5 mm training pad that mimics the thin, mobile conjunctiva for practising conjunctival closure, peritomy and fine absorbable sutures. Each pad gives you approximately four conjunctival suturing exercises, depending on your technique and how much surface you use. The pads clip into the Holder 4 ConjSuturing, which attaches to the MatPro 4 Eye for a stable, non-slipping setup under the microscope. Made in Austria by eyecre.at.

Built in layers: a thin, mobile conjunctiva on top, a Tenon’s capsule layer underneath and a firm scleral base, separated by glide layers that let the tissue planes move independently, as they do in the eye. The conjunctiva slides the way it does during closure, and the sclera gives realistic resistance when the needle goes too deep.

What you can train:

  • Conjunctival closure with interrupted and running sutures

  • Peritomy and conjunctival flap handling

  • Fine absorbable suture placement (5/0 to 7/0)

  • Tissue handling with conjunctival forceps and Westcott scissors

Set Microscope 4 Training (with Hard Case Trolley)

The Set Microscope 4 Training in a rolling hard case: tested, pre-assembled, and ready for the next wetlab in minutes. Our recommended version.

We tested which microscope, camera and stand configuration works best over the Head 4 Eyes and our pad holders, deliver the set pre-assembled and aligned, and pack it in a waterproof hard case trolley (55.6 x 34.8 x 24.9 cm, IP67) with cut foam, an extendable handle and wheels. Microscope, camera, ring light and adapter travel safely between wetlabs, courses and congresses. Unpack, connect a monitor, start.

Why from eyecre.at:

  • Tested setup: selected and checked on eyecre.at holders, not a random listing

  • Pre-assembled: microscope, ring light and camera arrive mounted and aligned on the stand

  • Parfocal Adapter 4 Camera: our 3D-printed adapter keeps the 4K monitor image and the eyepieces in focus at the same time, so the teacher sees on the screen exactly what the trainee sees in the oculars, without refocusing

  • Hard case trolley: every part has its place in the foam, so nothing is lost or knocked out of alignment between courses

What you get:

  • Trinocular stereo microscope with stand, 3.5x to 90x zoom (up to 180x with 2x Barlow lens)

  • 8.3MP 4K camera set with HDMI output for a live monitor image

  • 56-LED ring light

  • Parfocal Adapter 4 Camera, 3D-printed in Austria

  • Hard Case Trolley L with cube foam, waterproof and shock-resistant

Monitor not included.

Ideal for:

  • Anterior segment, suturing, cornea, conjunctiva, lid and IVT training

  • Course organisers and training centres running sessions at different locations

  • Congress wetlabs and booth demonstrations with a live monitor image

  • Departments that share one microscope set between rooms

Not a substitute for a surgical microscope for vitrectomy or posterior segment work. The same set without case (507 EUR) is available for a fixed station.

Kit 4 Rhexis with Cataract

Kit 4 Rhexis with Cataract

The beginner platform for capsulorhexis and phaco training. One reusable base assembles into three trainer stages (Beginner, Open Sky and Advanced), so the difficulty grows with the trainee, not with the shopping cart.

WHAT'S IN THE KIT

30 Lens 4 Phaco nuclei (10 soft, 10 medium, 10 hard) for the full hardness progression, rhexis foils for high-repetition capsulorhexis practice, Base 4 Rhexis Trainer, Ring 4 Fixation, Open Sky 4 Rhexis Trainer and Advanced Top 4 Rhexis Trainer. That is 30 complete phaco training runs plus hundreds of rhexis repetitions in one box: about €10 per phaco training at the core-kit price.

The "With Head 4 Eyes" set additionally includes the Head 4 Eyes holder and PadPro 4 Eye, ready to train out of the box.

WHAT IT TRAINS

Capsulorhexis (rhexis) technique, phacoemulsification with soft, medium and

hard nuclei (divide and conquer, stop and chop, chop), lens handling and IOL

practice. Works with your department's standard phaco machine and instruments.

CHOOSE YOUR CONFIGURATION

M.A.R.K.O. LID

eyecre.at's most comprehensive oculoplastic training model, built for surgeons who operate on the eyelid and periocular region.

The M.A.R.K.O. LID is eyecre.at's flagship oculoplastic training model. M.A.R.K.O. stands for Multi-Layer Anatomical Reconstructive Kit for Oculoplastics. It simulates the full range of eyelid and periocular procedures: from blepharoplasty to ptosis correction, from ectropion repair to flap reconstruction. Tissue response and anatomical detail are made for training complex procedures with confidence. Developed together with oculoplastic surgeons and refined course by course at the LidSUMMIT. Made in Austria by eyecre.at.

How it is built:

• 3D printed layer by layer: skin, connective tissue, muscles, fat and bone

• More than 50 separately defined volumes, each with its own material recipe

• 7 base materials, combined into a wide range of digital materials and post-processed after printing

• The model contains artificial blood

What you can train:

• Upper and lower blepharoplasty

• Ptosis correction, including frontalis sling technique

• Ectropion repair with lateral tarsal strip

• Canthoplasty and canthopexy

• Eyelid malposition correction

• Direct flap and advancement flap reconstruction

• Rotation flap technique

• Wound drainage simulation and wound closure

• Primary closure technique

Model features:

• Ectropion simulation: the lower lid everts outward, so lateral tarsal strip surgery can be practised realistically

• Periosteum on the lateral orbital rim: the tarsus can be anchored laterally under tension, as in the real procedure

• Natural proportions between medial lid margin, nasal bridge, eye and brow

• Skin material with flow fibres for realistic cutting and suturing in upper and lower blepharoplasty

• Realistic connective and fat tissue; the orbital septum follows the skin closely

• Frontalis muscle close to the bone and a flat frontal bone: space between muscle and skin for frontalis sling training

• Skin sits loosely on the frame instead of being fixed to it, giving a tension-free model

Anatomical scope: upper and lower lacrimal canaliculi are indicated but not functional; lacrimal drainage surgery is covered by a separate model. The nasal region and the maxillary and nasal bones are represented schematically only.

Storage: keep the model in an airtight container or zip bag. This keeps the blood inside the model liquid.

Recommended suture: Suture 5/0 Polypropylene Blue 90 cm Double (PN0462)

For all suturing on the M.A.R.K.O. LID we recommend this 5/0 polypropylene suture. It holds securely in the model's skin and tissue layers and does not tear out as quickly during repeated practice, so every model delivers more training rounds. Available in our shop under Sutures 4 Practice: https://www.eyecre.at/store/p/suture-4-practice

Eyelid 4 Eye

Add a realistic eyelid to any eyecre.at training eye - and take your anterior segment and oculoplastic training to the next level.

The Eyelid 4 Eye is a magnetic eyelid model that attaches directly to the full eyecre.at Eye 4 range, transforming a standard training eye into a complete anterior segment training setup. It adds anatomically accurate upper and lower eyelid structures, enabling surgeons to practice speculum placement, eyelid retraction and oculoplastic procedures in a realistic context. A simple but powerful addition to any wetlab or congress setup. Made in Austria by eyecre.at.

Included Lubrication 4 Eye is primarily designed to lubricate the Eye 4 Eyelid model, allowing the artificial eye to move smoothly within the eyelids during training and providing a more realistic surgical experience.

You can apply a small amount of the lubricant inside the Eye 4 Eyelid before inserting the artificial eye. It can also be applied directly to the artificial eye if desired, as it works well on both surfaces to reduce friction and improve movement.

Ideal for:

  • Speculum placement and eyelid retraction practice

  • Anterior segment surgery in a realistic periocular environment

  • Oculoplastic procedure introduction and technique familiarization

  • Congress and wetlab demonstrations with full eye context

  • Medtech device testing with eyelid interaction

Sutures 4 Practice

Practice every suturing technique your wetlab demands: corneal, scleral, lid and strabismus sutures across the full range of materials and gauges.

Sutures 4 Practice is a range of single-use training sutures for ophthalmic wetlab practice, covering the materials and needle configurations trainees encounter in real procedures, from fine 10/0 corneal sutures to heavier 4/0 lid and muscle sutures. Sourcing clinical-grade sutures for repeated training is expensive; this range makes realistic, true-to-feel sutures accessible for wetlab use without the cost barrier.

Choose individual suture types to match your training scenario, or stock the full range for a complete suturing station.

Our recommendation for eyelid and strabismus models: for the M.A.R.K.O. LID, KANTHO LID and Strabismus Lid we recommend the Suture 5/0 Polypropylene Blue 90 cm Double (PN0462). It holds securely in the models' tissue layers and does not tear out as quickly during repeated practice.
