eyecre.at GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of high-quality ophthalmic wetlab training equipment. Since 2014 we engineer artificial eyes and surgical simulators that let surgeons practise demanding procedures in a realistic, repeatable environment, long before they ever reach the operating room.

Our Mission

Surgical skill is built through repetition. Our mission is to make that repetition possible outside the OR, giving residents, fellows and experienced surgeons anatomically accurate, tactile-realistic models to refine their technique safely, affordably and as often as they need.

Our Story

eyecre.at was founded in Tyrol in 2014 and grew out of close collaboration with surgeons and anatomists. Today we are headquartered in Innsbruck, develop and manufacture our models in Austria using advanced 3D printing, and supply wetlab organisers, training programmes and medtech partners across the world.

Beyond ophthalmology: Surgical Standard

The way we work is not tied to the eye. A surgeon names a gap in their own field, the step that is hard to learn and rare to practise. From there we develop the model, handle production and distribution, and build the accredited course around it, while the surgeon stays the clinical lead and course director.
