Our Eye 4 product line covers the full spectrum of ophthalmic subspecialties: cataract surgery (phacoemulsification, SICS), IOL implantation, corneal procedures (DMEK, DSAEK, PKP, DALK), vitreoretinal surgery (PPV, membrane peeling), glaucoma surgery (trabeculectomy, MIGS), intravitreal injections (IVT) and external procedures including suturing, chalazion excision and eyelid surgery.
Tip: Ask Vitreo about your specific procedure — it can show you product videos and 3D animations of how each model works in practice.
eyecre.at models are 3D-printed from proprietary materials specifically developed to replicate the mechanical and tactile properties of ocular tissue. Corneal resistance, capsule behaviour during capsulorhexis, and scleral texture are all engineered to match real-world feel. For procedures requiring real tissue behaviour we also offer Sets & Kits including real tissue options.
The right model depends on your target procedure. Eye 4 VIT/CAT is designed for vitrectomy and cataract training, while Eye 4 Demonstration & IVT is optimised for intravitreal injection training and live demos.
The fastest way to find the right model: open Vitreo, describe your training goal, and it will recommend the exact setup — including accessories, with pricing and a direct quote option.
Yes. All Eye 4 models are compatible with standard ophthalmic phaco machines, vitrectomy systems and surgical microscopes. Our Accessories & Holders range includes heads and holders specifically designed to position the Eye 4 correctly under your microscope or slit lamp. We also offer camera holders and instrument sets for practice.
This depends on the procedure. For IVT injection training a single eye can be used for multiple injections. For more invasive procedures like capsulorhexis or corneal transplant training, each eye is typically designed for single-use per procedure to ensure consistent tactile feedback. Our Sets & Kits are designed for course and residency program use with the right quantities pre-configured.
