Eye 4 Glaucoma is an ophthalmic training eye designed to imitate the anterior segment of the human eye. It features a realistic simulation of the Schlemm’s canal, with an inner diameter of 0.45 mm, providing a comprehensive training tool for medical beginners and professionals in the field of glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.
Several operations can be simulated with such a configuration:
- Clear corneal incisions
- Multiplanar self-sealing incision and suturing
- Prefilled anterior chamber
- Prefilled Schlemm’s canal for easy insertion of all kinds of microcatheter or cannulae, rinsing the canal, opening or refilling the canal.

The material reacts to temperature fluctuations. In the cold, the material hardens, so to attain the most realistic training experience, the artificial eye should be stored at room temperature. If possible, you should also protect the container from sunlight since the artificial eye is mostly made of photoreactive 3D-printed materials.
